This idea was born of one single element: a chamber with three stones. Anything may happen in this room. The next natural move was to duplicate and flip the stones. We now have two poles. And two poles are always fascinating. Two poles represent black and white, positive, and negative, good, and bad. There is always conflict between two opposing forces. I wanted something to take the edge off. Suddenly I remembered Atréyu, the protagonist of "The Neverending Story."
To recognize himself, Atréyu had to travel through the "Big Riddle Gate," which consisted of two sphinxes, and the "Southern Oracle" on his route to the "Magic Mirror Gate."
"Friendly people find out that they are cruel. Brave people discover that they are cowards. Faced with their true selves, most people run away screaming."
Hence, the story.
A crow and a raven guard the stones. I also enjoy aspects that contain legends. These animals have long been related to occultism and continue to play an important role in magic. While the raven preserves secrets and does not want to share them, the crow does the opposite: It sees through and reveals secrets. The crow, as a "power animal," assists you in learning the truth, exposing liars, and exploring your dark side - all without having to enter the land of the dead. The crow is often regarded as the keeper of holy rules. This list goes on and on.
"People who have lost hope are easy to control. And whoever has control has the power."
